Job SummaryThe Faith Formation & Liturgical Support Coordinator plays a vital role in nurturing the spiritual life of our school community. This position supports teachers and students by integrating Catholic identity, virtues, and traditions throughout the curriculum and school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Catholic education, highly collaborative, and skilled in planning liturgical events, leading classroom prayer initiatives, and developing faith-based content for students of all grade levels.
The coordinator also provides direct classroom instruction in religion and electives as assigned, working closely with faculty and the Youth Minister.
- School Masses and Events—assist as needed
- Plan prayer services for classrooms for special days
- Help teachers implement virtues by creating and presenting material/activities
- Help with liturgical season displays as needed
- Talk about and help the classroom teacher with the Vocation Chalice
- Schedule and assist the classroom teacher with Adoration/Rosary
- Create and present slideshows on Saints, Feast Days, Apparitions, Miracles, and church history as needed
- Help teachers with Theology of the Body by finding or creating activities
- Day School Religious Curriculum in 4A
- Teach an elective with Youth Minister
- Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Education, Catholic Studies, or related field
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with knowledge of Catholic teaching and tradition
- Experience in Catholic education, parish ministry, or youth ministry (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable leading prayer and religious discussions with students
- Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations using Google Slides or Power Point
- Creative and flexible in developing faith-based content and activities
- Willingness to complete Safe Environment training (if not already certified)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to assist with occasional evening or weekend school events
