Missouri Baptist Medical Center is a Joint Commission Certificate of Distinction Primary Stroke Center in St. Louis. Missouri Baptist Medical Center is the location for the established Neurology team you would join.
PositionInpatient Neurologist to join an established group based at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. This role is 100% inpatient with a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm). The group emphasizes work-life balance and mentorship. Candidates who can read EMG or EEG would be a plus. EPIC EMR is used.
Responsibilities- Join an established group of Neurologists and APPs.
- Providers typically see 15 - 18 patients per day.
- 100% Inpatient.
- Manage or arrange inpatient hospital care for physician's patients, including hospital rounds or coverage with hospitalists, in accordance with Medical Staff requirements.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and care team to ensure patient care outcomes at designated clinic locations and other BJC clinical outreach locations as needed.
- Perform and document medical histories and physicals in the medical record as required by hospital medical staff bylaws.
- Provide or arrange call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in a manner acceptable to BJC and in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws, while following all BJC policies and procedures and applicable standards.
- Collaborate and teach advanced practice providers and care team members assigned to the physician's patient panel.
- Safety-sensitive position: ability to work in a constant state of alertness is an essential function.

Doctorate-Medicine. - Licenses &
Certifications:
BOARD ELIGIBLE OR BOARD CERTIFIED IN PRACTICING SPECIALTY;
Licensed Physician. - Experience:
No Experience (with preferred 2-5 years).
