Premier Dental Partners‑Old Ballas, a Heartland Dental supported office, is looking for a Business Assistant to support our front office and contribute to exceptional patient care.
As a Business Assistant, you’ll work in an environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and patient focus, while supporting the clinical and business needs of our dental office.
About the Role- Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office.
- Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
- File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verify benefits and explain coverage.
- Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables.
- Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
- Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.

- Access to on‑demand Daily Pay.
- Monday–Thursday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Friday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Regular HIPAA training and protection of PHI required.
- 1 + year(s) in a dental or medical setting.
- 1 + year(s) with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
- Dentrix or other dental software experience.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically.
- TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN).
