Position Overview The Guest Experience Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience for all visitors to the Performing Arts Center. This position combines exceptional customer service with operational support in concessions, ticket sales, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will be personable, adaptable, and committed to delivering outstanding service while supporting the smooth operation of our events.
Key Responsibilities- Concession Operations:
Set up, stock, and prepare concession areas before performances and events. - Concession Operations:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as prepackaged food items. - Concession Operations:
Verify IDs to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws. - Concession Operations:
Process orders efficiently and accurately while maintaining excellent guest service. - Concession Operations:
Follow all sanitation guidelines and maintain cleanliness in concession areas. - Concession Operations:
Monitor inventory, recommend product orders, and generate sales reports as needed. - Concession Operations:
Prepare deposits, secure cash drawers, and close out concession areas at shift end.
- Guest Relations:
Greet and assist guests, respond to inquiries, and resolve concerns professionally. - Guest Relations:
Provide accurate information about events, policies, and amenities. - Guest Relations:
Ensure each visitor enjoys their experience and receives attentive service.
- Operational Support:
Maintain cleanliness throughout the Performing Arts Center. - Operational Support:
Assist with event setup, teardown, and general venue operations as needed.
- Ticket Sales:
Sell tickets in person and by phone using digital ticketing system. - Ticket Sales:
Assist customers with seat selection and process transactions accurately. - Ticket Sales:
Handle cash and credit card transactions securely.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a diverse environment.
- Ability to learn and operate computer systems and equipment.
- Must be at least 21 years old (due to alcohol service requirements).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods (up to six hours).
- Primarily indoors in a performance venue environment.
- Must be able to adapt to varying temperatures and event conditions.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on event schedules.
