The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) will create a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. In addition, the role involves closing that day’s shift and creating an accurate bank deposit.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests with exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk activities, including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • Process new member sign‑ups.
  • Give prospective members tours of the club.
• Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner and, when needed, elevate issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Close the shift for the business day.
• Create a bank deposit for the next day.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer‑service skills with a professional, positive approach toward members and coworkers.
• Strong listening skills and an ability to empathize and solve problems.
• Diplomatic communication in all interactions.
• CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to work the 3rd shift (overnights).
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
