KSDK 5 is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative Producer to join our dynamic team for the daily lifestyle show, Show Me St. Louis. This is your chance to be part of a 30+ year show that captivates audiences every day!

As a Producer
, you'll be at the heart of creating engaging and unique daily segments that resonate with our viewers. We're seeking a dynamic, creative thinker who thrives under tight deadlines and brings solid visual and editorial skills to the table.

Responsibilities
  • Create compelling and unique segments that connect our community to local businesses, organizations, and events.
  • Collaborate with the Host, local sales team, and Clients to develop informative and entertaining content before, during, and after each show.
  • Write, shoot and edit stories for broadcast and digital platforms with clarity, energy, and authenticity.
  • Leverage the latest editing tools and production techniques to deliver visually rich and engaging content.
  • Utilize audience data and analytics to inform content decisions and enhance viewer connection.
  • Incorporate creative elements such as graphics, viewer‑generated content, and remote interviews to elevate storytelling.
  • Maintain a strong presence across digital platforms, writing and posting content daily for web and social media, and for the weekly e‑newsletter.
  • Ensure all stories are web‑ready with supporting visuals and video elements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Sales leadership team.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience is preferred.
  • Must be well‑organized and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be solution‑oriented and focused on client results and retention.
  • Must be a critical thinker and possess a positive attitude.
  • Rundown software experience (preferably ENPS).
  • Ability to edit and shoot preferred.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work under constant time‑sensitive deadlines.
  • Physical demands:
    Light work—sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
  • Reports to the General Manager.
