We are looking for a Concrete Foreman to lead and supervise the concrete crew, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with blueprints, safety standards, and project timelines. The foreman will manage on-site daily operations, coordinate crew activities, maintain equipment, and communicate with project managers or superintendents to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and direct the concrete team, including laborers, carpenters, concrete finishers, and other construction workers. Assign tasks, provide instructions, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist in planning and scheduling concrete pours, formwork, reinforcement, and finishing processes. Ensure resources, tools, and equipment are available and ready for each stage of the project.
- Monitor concrete work for accuracy, ensuring it meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure all safety protocols and company safety policies are followed on-site.
- Manage and track concrete, tools, and other materials needed for the project.
- Ensure that all supplies are delivered on time and stored correctly by working with the project manager to place orders and manage inventory.
- Make sure the crew is on schedule to meet project deadlines.
- Provide updates to project managers and report any issues or delays that could affect the project timeline.
- At least 3-5 years of experience working in concrete construction, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to read blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of concrete materials, techniques, and tools.
- Concrete Roadway experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best construction practices.
- Travel of at least 20% is required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, and a CDL License is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, tools, and equipment (up to 50 lbs. or more).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
