Senior Construction Manager Cheyenne, WY
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead major federal construction projects in Cheyenne, WY. Base pay range is $100,000 – $125,000 per year. Salary will be discussed with the manager during the interview.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure milestones are met and maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Review contract documents, schedule compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections and audits.
- Manage contractor approvals, RFIs, REAs, and other technical issues.
- Provide mentorship, training, and oversight to project teams.
- Prepare payment estimates, monthly status reports, and participate in contract modification processes.
- Attend client and contractor meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience with federal construction projects, especially USACE, preferred.
- Strong project leadership, interpersonal, presentation, and technical competencies required.
