Open Field Technical Account Manager

As the Regional Business Manager for the vegetables business, you are responsible for leading the Open Field (OPF) Processing organizational efforts around all Minnesota and Wisconsin Key accounts. You will manage the region in terms of Net Sales, OPEX, Gross Profit, Volume, and Market Share, aiming to maintain the Vegetable Market Share and achieve double‑digit year‑over‑year sales growth. Your role is crucial in developing and implementing strategies that enhance portfolio improvement, trait identification, and resource allocation, ensuring Bayer remains a leading choice for key accounts and growers.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the business results for the vegetables business in the region, focusing on Net Sales, Gross Profit, Market Share, Customer Share, and OPEX;
  • Develop, propose, and implement an OPF Strategy focused on portfolio improvement and resource allocation to maintain and increase market share;
  • Influence internal stakeholders such as marketing, finance, credit and collection, market development, supply chain, and HR to ensure business continuity and operation in the region;
  • Develop and implement action plans to establish the right distribution channels for short and long‑term business objectives;
  • Provide dynamic leadership, training, assistance, appraisal, motivation, and development to key customers to help them achieve their goals;
  • Establish and implement a RADL segmentation and account planning process to maximize resources and achieve financial targets;
  • Partner with Market Development
