Payroll Processor

The Payroll Processor is responsible for collecting timekeeping information and issuing pay‑related information to employees. Creates and distributes paychecks in accordance with hours worked and corrects paycheck errors.

• Reviewing timesheets and processing union and non‑union payroll for our concrete construction company, Concrete Strategies, on a weekly basis.
• Process termination/separation final wage payments in accordance with State regulated time frames.
• Maintain Payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
• Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Resolve Payroll discrepancies by gathering and analyzing information.
• Maintain Payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly union reports.
• Prepare and submit Certified Payroll reports on a weekly basis.
• Perform various account reconciliations and analysis.
• Special projects—other duties as assigned.

• 1–2 years payroll experience required.
• Construction and union payroll required.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• JD Edwards experience a plus.
• The ability to function effectively in a highly entrepreneurial environment, both as a team player and independently.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting, with weekly deadlines.
• Must be very detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize time.
