Job Summary

The credit department is dedicated to increasing the rate of payment from our customers and protecting our company s assets with diligence in a professional manner, while working closely with our branches to drive profitable sales and generate the highest overall return on investment.

Responsibilities
  • Partners with underwriting to review credit applications, assigns credit limits and establishes terms of sale
  • Evaluates existing customer credit limits based on current market trends, purchase activity and payment history
  • Responsible for collections of AR within assigned districts. Strong partnership with both field and customers is required to ensure effectiveness in DSO reduction
  • Investigates customer projects to confirm validity of all project parties for proper filing deadlines and lien tracking when applicable.
Qualifications
  • Customer service and/or credit experience preferred.
  • Successful candidate must have the ability to adapt to change and be innovation minded.
  • Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications such as Word and Excel is a must.
  • Must be an effective communicator (verbal and written) with exceptional phone skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience desired but not required in process improvement.
  • Support team within multi-functions of the department, identify and help slimline current processes.
  • Ability io work in multiple systems desired.
Environmental

Job Requirements
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
