Key Responsibilities- Manage the end‑to‑end distributor‑related commissions process.
- Assist in forecasting commission receivables for planning and cash flow purposes, ensuring compliance with Emerson’s commission guidelines.
- Process commission bookings accurately in accordance with company policies.
- Record commission earnings and reconcile with payments.
- Analyze sales data and commission calculations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Collaborate with Experitec Sales and Emerson teams to resolve commission discrepancies and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate records, document workflows, and recommend process improvements.
- On‑the‑job training to set you up for success.
- Job shadowing and mentoring with team members.
- Ongoing customer service training.
- Ongoing training on various company functions to broaden business acumen.

Required Skills, Experience & Abilities- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Five or more years of relevant experience (internships acceptable).
- Strong attention to detail with high standards of accuracy and speed.
- Ability to accurately compute commission calculations and payments.
- Proven success in analytical thinking, critical problem‑solving, and process improvement.
- Ability to research, interpret data, and optimize outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑team collaboration and issue resolution.
- Ability to communicate financial information to non‑financial managers.
- Ability to utilize an ERP system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook email.
- Prior experience working efficiently within business systems and application proficiency.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, data extraction, cross‑referencing).
- Ability to collaborate on projects.
- Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a broader team.
- Ability to work onsite Monday‑Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. for about one month of training, then shift to a hybrid schedule (office 3 days per week, core 9 a.m.–3 p.m.).
- Two or more years of distributor‑related commission processing.
- Ten or more years of general business experience.
- Experience creating and editing standard procedures and process documentation.
- Two or more years of business consulting background.
- Three or more years utilizing an ERP system.
- Experience working with client and/or vendor commission data.
- Prior experience using financial software or accounting systems for data entry, reporting, and decision making.
- Experience identifying and recommending process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
- Experience with IFS (Industrial & Financial Systems) software.
- Motivated to improve business systems.
- Two or more years of order entry experience.
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst on commission data and reporting.
- Prior experience reviewing commission calculations and reporting.
