Join us as a Specialist, Pricing Strategy & Analytics at Caleres, Inc., a dynamic footwear company headquartered in St. Louis, MO. In this role you will shape pricing strategies, support promotions, and deliver insights to drive growth across our iconic brands.
Responsibilities- Execute pricing strategies: analyze sales, margin, and promotional performance.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis and substantiate data‑validation requests before development.
- Coordinate pricing‑related requests: support coupon/BOGO eligibility, MAP pricing, and other ad‑hoc needs while aligning timing with Marketing.
- Review pricing changes: enter changes in the system and verify current and future‑effective prices for accuracy.
- Review promotional calendar: ensure pricing aligns with company‑wide and market‑specific events.
- Gather documentation: work with Buying and Merchandising teams to collect required documents for scheduled price changes.
- Validate pricing: review and correct pricing at the final proof stage of advertising and promotional events.
- Maintain dashboards and reports: deliver weekly sales and pricing insights to the merchandising floor.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in pricing, merchandising, or data analysis.
- Experience working in a retail environment (preferred).
- Experience using retail math (preferred).
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills; experience with Power BI or other BI tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in AS400 and Excel; strong Microsoft Office skills.
