Sales Director; Ingredients - Beverage

Sales Director position at a specialist ingredients group. Reporting to the Business Unit CEO Sales and forming part of the leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering the 5 year commercial strategy in this specialist Ingredients/Beverage Ingredients division.

• Develop and execute effective Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
• Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches.

Candidates MUST have proven experience as a Sales Director within the B2B Food Ingredients (Flavor/Ingredients/Beverage) and will have excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a large team (10+). You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation.
