Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The Training Manager will manage trainers who are direct reports.
- Monitor, train and support trainers in a specific region and assist other training managers and their areas.
- Monitor the learning management system to ensure completion of all modules by all learners, including new trainees in a class with trainers and continuing education CBTs completed by others in the company.
- Create content for their region and assist with training content for the company as a whole.
- Train new trainers as well as provide continuing training for existing trainers.
- Develop and administer educational content for experienced technicians (Keep Educating Yourself – KEY Training).
- Conduct specialized training for Certified Damage Investigation, Certified Field Trainers, etc.
- Work with Ops and HR to schedule classes and attend weekly scheduling calls.
- Schedule training dates, locations and trainer availability, manage the schedule with trainers to ensure coverage.
- Travel 50% or more throughout the assigned region and to other regions to assist.
Job Requirements
- Travel of 50% or more of the time is a requirement of this position.
- May need to acquire evaluator certifications with MEA, ITS and/or EWN for clients that allow in‑house OQ evaluations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret prints at a high level.
- Ability to teach and demonstrate proper techniques.
- Excellent quality record.
- Proficient in gas and electric training.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
- Documentation of excellent quality ratio within the locating industry.
- Pass a background screening (no violations within the last 5 years).
- Pass a DOT drug test (ongoing).
- Physical and safety requirements: lift over 50 lbs, walk/stand for multiple hours a day.
