As a member of the Strategic Client Development team, you will make meaningful contributions to the firm’s growth by supporting the firm’s proposal process as outlined in the list of responsibilities below. Major Responsibilities
- Lead proposal projects
- Draft persuasive proposal documents tailored to the needs of each prospective client, including:
- Review request for proposal (RFP) documents in detail and ensure proposal submissions satisfy all RFP requirements
- Collaborate with proposal teams on project timeline
- Draft and send New Business Opportunity notices and track opportunities in firm's CRM system
- Regularly update content library in proposal software system
- Gather feedback and complete edits to proposal documents
- Ensure quality of content
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Produce other documents such as Statements of Qualifications and Presentations in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint using design templates and proposal automation software
- Maintain new business pipeline reporting in CRM and Microsoft Excel
- Support additional new business projects
- Contribute to the achievement of annual department goals and objectives
Preferred Experience / Background / Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or related experience
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interaction with multiple teams across the firm
- Strong organizational and project management skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required)
- Ability to effectively utilize technology and a commitment to learn in the technology environment
- Strict adherence to professional ethics
Working Conditions
- The typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and deadlines
- Travel for this position will be minimal
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to move throughout office
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 10-20 pounds
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, etc.
