Automotive Mechanic / Automotive Technician. Work in a Climate-Controlled Shop. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join our service team at Lou Fusz Chevrolet in St.

Peters. This position offers a stable career path, competitive pay, and a supportive, team-oriented environment. This is a union position governed by District No. 9, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers AFL-CIO.

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
