Data Coordinator
position open. This position is part of a mission-focused team of professionals providing compassion and hospitality to families with seriously ill children.
This position assists in maintaining the organization’s donor database and is responsible for database entries, including but not limited to the entry of constituents and donations and generating acknowledgements.
As part of RMHC the position collaborates with the team members to achieve position and organization goals in support of the RMHC mission and Core Values.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge preferred
- Experience with file management and relational database concepts
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Highly skilled in all Microsoft Office programs
- Strict adherence to organizational ethics and maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Superior attention to detail, consistency and follow through skills

- Process in-house batch data entry: batch review, RE coding, duplicate record search, data entry, acknowledgement letters, etc.
- Populate and maintain accurate records in donor software program including processing all donations, gifts and matching gift pledges, credit card processing, entry and maintenance of all constituent records, and event participant tracking information plus bi-weekly posting of gifts
- Finance Management
- Manages the preparation of all cash donations, including batch processing, funds, and appeal and acknowledgments
- Manages entry of, and enters as needed, all cash and in-kind donations in a timely manner, including new constituents and constituent changes, ensuring accuracy
- Collaborates with Finance Department to ensure reconciliation of total revenues
- Financial Transactions
- Oversee cash transactions w/daily entry/deposit
- Responsible for daily check deposits and weekly reports to Finance Office
- Responsible for Online Express gifts and reconciliation with Finance
- Bid Pal tracking, gift processing and acknowledgements
- Donor Administration
- Provide database assistance for organization
- Annual coordination and update of all acknowledgement letters
- Maintenance of the matching gift pledge process, including updates of websites, management of usernames and passwords and preparation of required documents following up to ensure donation
- Responsible for bi-monthly recurring gifts and pledge gift processing and acknowledgement
- Regular and reliable attendance

Must be able to concentrate and remain focused while handling multiple tasks, responsibilities and projects. Must be able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching and lifting of moderate to heavy weight material up to 10-15 lbs. Must be able to frequently climb stairs, including up to 3 flights, and frequently walk distances up to approximately 80 yards. Must be able to travel between RMH locations as needed.
