The Department of Revenue for St. Louis County Government is seeking an Office Services Coordinator to join the Recorder of Deeds team. This position is responsible for office support, day‑to‑day operations, and project support, ensuring the quality control and accuracy of work within a defined unit.

Essential Function Examples
- Perform complex administrative and clerical tasks related to the operations of the Recorder of Deeds.
- Provide guidance, direction, and training to staff while reviewing work for accuracy.
- Prepare reports and summaries of work production.
- Coordinate projects with internal and external vendors and partners.
- Coordinate arrangements for travel.
- Assist unit supervisors with information maintenance including forms, advertising, and website.
- Maintain inventory of all supplies and equipment necessary for office functions.
Marginal Function Examples
- May have independent assignments not associated with others’ work.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Equivalent to four years of professional work experience in a general office environment.
- All employees must be current in the payment of their personal and real property taxes, whether they reside in St. Louis County or elsewhere.
- Preference may be given to applicants with the following work experience:
- Public sector
- Effective communication skills across work groups and departments
The selection committee evaluates qualifications based on education, experience, supplemental questions, employment references, and other relevant information. Candidates will be admitted to interview only if they possess the most job‑related qualifications. An interview grade of 70 or more is required for eligibility. After interviews, selected candidates complete a Conviction Questionnaire within 3 days. The top five candidates are certified to the Department Director for final decision.
Conditional offers require a pre‑appointment urinalysis; the County covers the cost.
