Position Summary
The Project Coordinator manages cross-functional initiatives and program projects on behalf of the Mar Com team, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with organizational priorities.
In 2026, this role will be instrumental in supporting the Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ 125th anniversary initiatives, including expanded campaigns, media flights, storytelling efforts, donor communications, signature events, and cross-departmental coordination. The Project Coordinator provides structured project management, timeline oversight, and workflow optimization to support the increased volume and complexity of Mar Com initiatives.
Objectives of the Role- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve risks or roadblocks.
- Coordinate cross-departmental teams and external stakeholders.
- Develop and track project budgets.
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure responsible use of funds.
- Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-through.
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Utilize project management tools and best practices.
- Document workflows and create systems for improved efficiency.
- Evaluate project outcomes and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate event logistics including registration, communications, volunteer coordination, and on‑site execution.
- Coordinate delivery with vendors and materials for programs and gatherings.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in project coordination, program management, administrative support, or related fields.
- Proficiency in project management software (preferably ) and Microsoft Office/Teams.
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong ability to lead collaboratively and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with nonprofit or Jewish organizational work preferred.
