Franchise Paralegal – CorporateLocation: St. Louis, MO | Hybrid
We’re seeking an experienced Franchise Paralegal to support a corporate transactional team. This role offers flexibility—hybrid (2 days remote, 3 in-office) or fully remote if outside commuting distance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage franchise registrations, disclosures, renewals, and filings across multiple states.
- Draft and update franchise disclosure documents and agreements.
- Liaise with clients throughout registration and renewal processes.
- Monitor trademark registrations and franchise agreement timelines.
- Maintain precedent database and assist with drafting legal documents.
- Research, organize, and summarize documents; ensure accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Track billable hours and maintain clear documentation.
- Paralegal certificate or related degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ franchise experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant legal software.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours with occasional overtime.
Tools: Microsoft Suite, iManage, Kofax, NASAA EFD, and state-specific portals.
BenefitsPersonal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
