Independently perform a wide range of functions and tasks, which require vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing, explaining and supporting policy implementation. Problem identification, analysis, and resolution are central. Provides general or specialized administrative support to NGA offices and programs, developing information and communicating to varied audiences (NGA, DoD, IC, Federal Government, Congress, media, public, international community, private industry).

- Perform a wide range of functions and tasks requiring vision and proficiency in developing, explaining, and implementing policy and guidance.
- Independently perform a wide range of functions and tasks requiring vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing, explaining and supporting policy implementation.
- Develop pertinent information and communicate it to various audiences in timely written and oral briefings, white papers and other media.
- Contribute to internal office policy development and clarification to achieve mission objectives.
- Communicate effectively with people at all staff levels, both internal and external.
- Recommend operating procedures to improve workflow consistency.
- Ensure timely execution of internal and external taskings, including preparing for meetings and special events.
- Monitor, maintain status, and provide weekly reporting on open actions.
- Track actions to assure professional, on‑time completion, coordinating with action officers.
- Manage electronic tracking and processing systems at NGA and SI levels.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve problems.
- Design new processes, document improvements, and direct implementation.
- Provide administrative and technical support, including filing, answering phone, maintaining schedules, organization charts, emergency contacts, hard‑copy and electronic files, event/meeting coordination, weekly reports, presentations, travel coordination, and SOP updates.
- Lead and perform on special projects, ensuring timely delivery of products and services to meet master schedules and program milestones.
- Escort visitors and handle specialized area duties.
- Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Office Management/Staff Officer Support.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative support including filing, answering phone, schedule management, organization charts, emergency contacts, hard‑copy and electronic file maintenance, event coordination, weekly report generation, presentation creation, task tracking, correspondence review, travel planning using DTS/MET, and SOP updates.
- Experience working with executive‑level clients in IC, NGA, DoD or Federal government.
- Proficient use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work with and adapt to personnel at all levels; handle high‑visibility situations with rigid deadlines, tracking actions to on‑time completion.
- Problem‑solving and innovation skills; work without direct supervision; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) and Mission Execution Tracker (MET) for travel scheduling.
- Experience using Peoplesoft.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Office Management/Staff Officer Support.
- Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the related field.
