• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions timely and accurately.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs.
• Performing month end account reconciliations.
• Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce costs and maximize profit.
• Conducting inventory cycle counts & variance investigations.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Assisting with operational projects or tasks as needed.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, specifically Vlookup, as/if formulas, and pivot tables
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
