Location: St. Louis

In this position, you will manage invoices, reconcile accounts, assist with reporting, and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, primarily in Quickbooks.
  • Record transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Help with cash flow management.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
  • Communicate with the CPA firm to support tax preparation.
  • Monthly bookkeeping work will be for approximately 10 small real estate and investment oriented LLCs.
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (especially Quick Books) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and journal entries.
  • Experience with producing monthly Profit and Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Real estate accounting experience and tax regulation knowledge would both be helpful.
