The Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing various financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• In charge of Accounts Payable
• Process billings
• Make collection calls
• Prepare bank deposits
• Apply payments
• Manage customer accounts
• Handle communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments
• Other tasks as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related field; preferred
• Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once, switching between various tasks quickly.
• Strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable principles and best practices
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
• Experience with ERP systems a plus; currently we use Net Suite
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

$22-$27/hour
