On‑site, full‑time in St. Louis, MO

The Senior Accountant is a key contributor within a fast‑growing, multi‑entity organization operating in a highly regulated industry. This role supports the Controller and finance leadership through disciplined close execution, complex reconciliations, audit support, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a high‑accountability environment with evolving processes. This position requires the ability and willingness to meet the demands of a growing organization.

• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• Own assigned balance sheet accounts, including complex reconciliations and variance analysis
• Manage intercompany transactions and multi‑entity accounting activities
• Reconcile debt, interest, fixed assets, accruals, reserves, and equity accounts
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items and unusual activity
• Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Partner cross‑functionally to ensure accurate data flows into the general ledger
• Support accounting system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Contribute to documentation, controls, and scalable accounting procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CPA‑eligible required
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience in multi‑entity and intercompany environments
• Experience preparing and supporting audits
• Background in financial services, banking, or similarly regulated industries (IRS, SEC, etc.) required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, data analysis)
• Net Suite experience preferred or similar ERP systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
• Strong integrity, attention to detail, and communication skills
