Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

Our Kforce client located in the Saint Louis, MO areas is a full-service firm technical firm that is seeking a detail oriented Staff/Senior Accountant to support daily financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with month end close in a fast paced, collaborative environment. The client offers competitive salary based on experience, plus comprehensive health, retirement, and supplemental benefit options.

This position will be 4 days a week in office, 3 days after once new hire is acclimated with position.

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
• Support AP/AR activities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month /year end close
• Support ERP system updates and user inquiries
• Participate in special projects and ensure data confidentiality

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP;
  Strong Excel skills;
  Experience with Quick Books or Unanet is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
• Ability to identify trends and process improvements
• Effective communication and collaboration
