Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will handle essential accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This position requires familiarity with accounting software and a keen eye for detail to support financial operations.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

- Perform detailed data entry tasks to maintain precise financial records.

- Process invoices efficiently and resolve any discrepancies as needed.

- Utilize Quick Books and other accounting software for daily operations.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial workflows.

- Generate reports to support financial analysis and decision-making.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of financial transactions.

- Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving variances.

- Leverage Dynamics 365 Business Central for system updates and reporting. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation procedures.

- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
