Staff Accountant

Our company is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team on an ongoing basis. This position provides the opportunity to contribute to essential accounting functions and work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports

+ Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data

+ Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting

+ Perform variance analysis and research account discrepancies

+ Support other finance and accounting tasks as required

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

+ Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
