Base pay range$80,000.00/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Lead a fast-paced accounts payable department, handling vendor relationships and weekly payment processing (checks, ACH, credit cards)
- Oversee expense reporting and general ledger functions
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payment regulations, including annual 1099 filings
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of system entries and payments
- Resolve complex issues from staff or vendors
- Manage monthly financial close and ensure accurate financial statements
- Develop and improve processes for operational efficiency and scalability
- Review documentation for policy compliance
- Train and evaluate team members
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and special projects
- Assist with annual audit requests
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, not required but preferred
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
- 3-5 years of leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and regulations
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (Net Suite a plus)
- Proficiency in Excel and business software
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
