Overview
We are looking for our newest Staff Accountant. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Staff Accountant will assist with month end closing, accounts receivable and accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have 4 - 7 years general accounting experience and intermediate MS Excel skills. Quick Books experience is a plus. As we strongly believe in developing talent, we would be open to candidates that are still in the process of completing their college degree.

- Project based accounting functions such as pay-when-paid Accounts Payable.
- Support Project Leads in completing Accounts Receivable in timely manner.
- Collect all necessary lien waivers and assist in completing the documentation for invoices to be delivered to clients.
- Perform comprehensive weekly cash analysis and present to Controller and CFO.
- Perform other accounting tasks such as bank deposits, process expense reimbursement reports
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in month-end procedures to ensure timely closing of financial statements.
- Participate in cross training with other team members to ensure seamless transition between different entities.
- Work with members across the organization to streamline processes and procedures.
- Must be a highly motivated individual who enjoys working on a team that embraces continuous improvement and growth
- Minimum of 4 - 7 years’ experience in a similar role or a current college attendee
- Excellent computer knowledge and proficiency in Excel. Experience using Quick Books is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to respond clearly, quickly, and effectively
- Must be organized, dependable and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of financial terms and principles
