We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Accounting team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting the company’s cash flow by accurately processing payments, managing customer accounts, resolving billing issues, and assisting with collections efforts. Your work will help ensure our financial records are complete, compliant, and up to date.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, communicating with customers, and maintaining organized systems in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities- Post customer payment batches accurately and timely to accounts receivable systems
- Review, reconcile, and research customer statements to resolve discrepancies
- Approve and process credit notes, refunds, and credit card adjustments
- Analyze past‑due accounts and initiate collection efforts through written and verbal communication
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding overdue balances, billing issues, and account corrections
- Process manual credit notes, order corrections, and write‑offs for uncollectible accounts
- Maintain and manage accounts receivable correspondence and documentation
- Verify, organize, and file customer tax exemption certificates in accordance with compliance requirements
- Support accounts receivable operations related to web transactions and internet‑based sales
- Perform additional accounting‑related duties and special projects as assigned
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, invoice processing, batch reconciliations, or customer account management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
- Experience working with accounts receivable modules and transactions in an ERP environment
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with excellent follow‑through
- Problem‑solving mindset and comfort addressing billing and account discrepancies
