Accounts Payable Specialist Ronnoco Coffee LLC

Ronnoco Coffee, the Midwest's leading supplier of specialty coffee, is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join ourteam at our main office in St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities:

• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; record entries.
• Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit as received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments; coordinating purchase order amendments.
• Assist with maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Maintain historical records by scanning and filing documents.
• Notify appropriate personnel of payment discrepancies and verify correction
• Review source documents for completeness and accuracy
• Review incoming invoices and payment request documents for approval authority
• Return unauthorized documents by identifying error conditions
• Schedule and prepare checks and EFTS
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Requirements:

• Ability to learn quickly and work ina fast paced environment
• 3-5 years' professional experience in Accounts Payable with excellent problem solving skills
• Previous Great Plains or similar ERP experience preferred
• Proactive problem solver who works well with team and is solution-oriented
• High school degree required; college coursework strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
