Nurse Clinician

Overview

Park Nicollet Health Services is hiring a Nurse Clinician to provide advanced direct nursing care, advanced assessment, and collaborative care with physicians. The role supports patients and families with high-quality care and experiences.

• Weekdays, daytime shifts M-F 7:45 am‑5:00 pm (eight‑hour shift).

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with specific disease or condition.
• Autonomously assess, plan, implement, intervene, and evaluate advanced care.
• Follow up care using written protocols within scope of practice and PNHS standards.

• Associate degree in nursing and currently enrolled in or willing to matriculate to a BSN program.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in the specialty area of clinical practice.
• Successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent approved job preparation to qualify for certification (if available) in the specialty area of nursing.
• Certification in the clinical specialty (if available) or Ambulatory Care Nursing within two years of hire.
• Current state certificated registered nurse’s licensure and BLS provider status in accordance with AHA guidelines.
• Knowledge of age‑related growth and development principles for patient safety.
• Ability to operate health testing devices, telephone, CRT, printer, and photocopier safely and effectively.

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
• Strong clinical and human relations skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic keyboarding skills.
