1.0 FTE, Full-Time / Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (weekend rotation as needed; holiday rotation 1–2 per year; on-call rotation as needed; MOD)
Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience

The Staffing Supervisor II is the lead and primary support for the staffing team, including implementation of processes, tool deployment, culture, and accountability. The Staffing Supervisor II ensures a welcoming, supportive experience for caregivers from interview through orientation and ongoing employment with Lifespark. This role implements schedules that meet client care needs and understands budget expectations to help the department meet financial goals.
The position requires attention to detail and an understanding of time-sensitive demands.
Position: Staffing Supervisor II for Community Home Care
Responsibilities & Responsibilities:
- Act as the staffing department lead and primary support for Staffing Supervisors
- Provide ongoing support, coaching, and mentoring for Staffing Supervisors
- Implement established staffing patterns and schedules that meet client care needs and financial goals
- Ensure adequate in-office coverage and act as a back-up to Staffing Supervisors as needed
- Ensure policies, procedures, and best practices are implemented by Staffing Supervisors to the caregiving workforce
- Actively participate in the recruitment and onboarding process
- Contribute to screening and interviewing candidates
- Ensure completion of necessary new hire paperwork
- Maintain average caregiver wage in line with current standards
- Ensure all caregivers meet regulatory requirements including orientation, skill competencies, in-service education, TB, Hepatitis B, background checks, DMV, I-9, and all other applicable regulations with documentation
- Conduct new hire orientation in collaboration with designated Registered Nurse
- Administer Learning Management System for caregivers
- Ensure caregiver understanding and accountability to Lifespark policies, procedures, and best practices
- Provide real-time caregiver coaching/mentoring through a combination of telephonic and in-person touchpoints
- Conduct caregiver annual reviews
- Regularly apply the People Analyzer to assess alignment with company values and fit for the role
- Follow Lifespark recognition programs to encourage and reward performance
- Communicate caregiver resignations and terminations per Lifespark best practice
- Organize and facilitate regular caregiver meetings and events
- Reinforce call-in protocol and expectations with caregivers
- Maintain personnel/electronic files including tracking expired credentials

- Collaborate with RN Case Manager to provide right-fit caregivers for each client
- Maintain consistent, flexible schedules to ensure shifts are staffed appropriately
- Proactively communicate scheduling changes to clients and employees
- Inform RN Case Manager of scheduling conflicts or concerns
- Problem-solve to cover call-offs and special requests
- Adhere to the “No Shift Goes Unstaffed” pledge
- Track employee availability and call-offs
- Adjust caregiver schedules to ensure accurate billing and payroll
- Participate in Lifespark’s Event Management process, including reporting and investigations
- Report worker injuries per protocol and promote the return-to-work program
- Deliver the Lifespark Experience through caregiver and client engagement
- Establish rapport with caregivers and clients/family members
- Make introductory calls to new clients and staffing contacts
- Follow up on calls and emails from caregivers and clients/family members
- Address service issues following Lifespark’s service recovery practice
