Boketto Private Event Manager
Kaskaid Hospitality

We are looking for a highly motivated, determined, and well‑spoken Private Event Manager to lead our off‑site catering sales. The successful candidate will drive revenue, build strong client relationships, and work closely with business development and operations teams to create memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals and budgets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Create and manage the annual strategic plan.
  • Manage lead sources to ensure quantity and quality of leads.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to develop lead generation strategies.
  • Seek new customers through strategic outbound sales efforts for group, extended stay, and transient room revenue.
  • Conduct sales calls to key accounts or major prospects.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with peers, competitors, and brand partners.
  • Adjust strategy based on market and segmentation knowledge.
  • Ensure effective use of company, brand, and local CVB programs.
  • Ensure the Catering sales team utilizes available Sales Tools.
  • Maintain adequate stock of marketing materials and resources.
  • Monitor sales activities to ensure revenue goals are met and report variance to management.
  • Weigh the value of each piece of business against objectives.
  • Recruit and train a high‑performing sales team, reducing turnover.
  • Provide coaching and support to drive performance, job satisfaction, and growth.
  • Train team members to exercise good judgment for profitable decisions.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Sales Managers, and Culinary teams.
Work Environment

The role involves regular outdoor weather exposure and moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands

Regular sitting, standing, walking, hand use, and communication. Regular lifting of up to 15 lbs and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs. Repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching above head.

Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Director of Sales or equivalent leadership role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and leading teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales forecasting, budgeting, and revenue management.
  • Strong recruiting, supervising, training, and motivating skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into sales solutions.
  • Assertive and persuasive communication without aggression.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel;
    Tripleseat a plus.
  • Ability to evaluate alternatives and decide on action plans swiftly.
Compensation

$55,000.00 per year.
