The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $26.39 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Credit Balance Specialist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Credit Balance Specialist, you will coordinate, process, and audit accounts to determine posting errors and over payments and takes corrective action to ensure account accuracy.

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week during standard corporate business hours.

Note:

Responsibilities are grouped by approximate time allocation.

• 80% Credit Balance Support — Analyzes each credit balance to determine root cause and establishes a plan of action.
• Takes action on all payer and patient refund requests.
• Posts the appropriate adjustments to correct any errors that were created during receipt and adjustment posting to resolve the credit balance.
• Ensures appropriate documentation of refunds recorded on individual accounts.
• Completes refund requests for patient and payers when over payments occur within the timeline established by accounts payable and according to month end guidelines.
• Coordinates the supporting documentation required to accompany the refund.

• 10% Revenue Cycle Management Support — Responds to customer service inquiries related to refund requests.
• Assists with month-end posting of payments when directed.

• 10% Performs other duties as assigned
