Role OverviewIn the role of Section Team Lead, you will:
- Assist in the operations of the electrical distribution production section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support.
- Serve as Project Manager or Lead Engineer for electrical distribution design projects in low or medium voltage, approximately 75% of your weekly work.
- Support administrative responsibilities for section staff and technical services, and coordinate with other sections.
- Participate in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews.
- Engage directly with industrial and public clients on marketing and project production.
- Ensure work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated via proactive project management.
- Implement and monitor company policies.
- Assist in selecting, training, developing, and managing technical personnel.
- Collaborate with National Directors and marketing staff on local and national efforts.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; electrical preferred, but other disciplines considered based on experience.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License.
- Experience in distribution design, including planning, coordination, wire sizing, and understanding of constructability.
- Self-motivated, capable of networking, generating new work, recruiting, and team growth.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Professional registration or license may be required.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
