The Role

A leading North American distributor of stainless steel products, serving the food, chemical, steel fabrication, and architectural industries for over 40 years. The company offers value-added services including plasma cutting, laser cutting, water-jet cutting, stainless steel polishing, shearing, and saw cutting. They also provide valve automation, structural and sanitary tubing, and all engineered fluid transfer products.

They are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their Montreal team to drive growth, maintain customer accounts, and provide exceptional service.

  • Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and margin targets
  • Independently prospect for new business while managing existing accounts
  • Develop a sales and marketing plan for the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all key decision-makers
  • Respond to customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business or marketing preferred, or minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Excellent customer service, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong computer skills and experience with sales management software
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-starter, results-driven, professional, and team-oriented
  • Ability to sell value-added solutions, not just on price
