Are you ready to keep supply chains moving safely and efficiently? Hillyard is looking for a Transportation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll coordinate shipments, support drivers, and help ensure products reach customers and vendors on time, every time.

• Plan and coordinate shipments to ensure safe, on-time, and cost-effective delivery
• Partner with distribution and safety teams to align schedules and compliance needs
• Monitor driver performance and coach for continuous improvement
• Stay up to date with DOT regulations and evolving transportation technologies
• Manage transportation costs, reports, and driver payroll
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training for drivers

• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and driver compliance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable analyzing performance data and finding cost‑saving solutions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation systems
• CDL and driving experience a plus
