Position Title Community Connection Assistant Department Center for Service Appointment Term Academic Year (August - May) FLSA Non-Exempt
Job SummaryThe Community Connection Assistant will be an active team member of a not-for-profit organization, school or governmental agency in the community. The successful candidates will have the ability to work in the community, making an impact in areas such as children and education, food insecurity, homelessness, poverty and more.
Essential DutiesThe Community Connection Assistant’s duties will vary depending upon the organization they are matched with.
Duties May Include, But Are Not Limited To- Supporting the organization’s mission
- Supporting the organization’s daily operations, which may include work with customers, consumers, staff and volunteers and future or expanded programming.

- At least an overall 2.0 GPA
- Enrolled at least part-time
- Must qualify for federal work study financial aid assistance
