Flynn Group entered the Panera system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafes. Since then, we have more than tripled in size to become the second largest Panera franchisee in the world and continue to grow by building new stores and acquiring other franchise operators.
Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread built on a decentralized business model, where each geographic area is led by a Market Leader. Area Directors oversee multiple units and report to the ML, while General Managers manage individual cafes. Assistant Managers support daily operations and Team Managers lead the frontline staff.

Position DescriptionOur Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly environments offering baked breads and pastries, made‑to‑order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. We maintain a grease‑ and alcohol‑free environment with no late nights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide outstanding leadership to your team.
- Passionate about the industry, inspiring others, coaching, counseling, creating a profitable environment, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, safety, and facility management.
- Showcase a steady, stable employment track record, attention to detail, and outstanding social skills.
- Serve as a role‑model and lead the team.
- Ensure that team members provide great customer service.
- Take ownership of the business performance of the restaurant.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Run quality opening, mid, and closing shifts ensuring a consistent positive customer experience.
- Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
- Greet customers and conduct table visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff.
- Assist the specialist within the bakery‑cafe, ensuring team members are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support.
- Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines, cultural values, and ethical business practices.
- Exhibit a professional image and promote and embody our values and beliefs as outlined on the Premier Card.
- At least 1–2 years hospitality experience.
- Food Management Certifications are a plus.
- Must have the "Run it Like you Own It" mentality.
- Excellent organization, customer service, and time management skills.
- Proven track record for leadership.
- Passion, energy, and a positive attitude.
- Work well under pressure and be able to work with a diverse group of people.
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Must be able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for up to ten (10) hours.
- Must be able to safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
- Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
