* Pay: $27.65 - $44.24 / hour

Summary

* This position performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff.

* This position works under the supervision of Clinic Manager and under the direction of the Provider, and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Duties

* Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients.

* Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.

* Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.

* Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.

* Review medical charts for completeness. Documents all medications, refills, telephone conversations and patient visits in the medical record.

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Graduate of a school of nursing is required. BSN is preferred.

* RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 90 days of employment is required.

* Clinical CLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of employment is required.

* 1 year of hospital or clinic nursing experience preferred.
