• Pay Range: $26.33 - $42.13 / hour

Summary:

• This position performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff.
• This position works under the supervision of the Clinic Manager and under the direction of the Provider, and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Duties:

• Greets and prepares patients for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
• Reviews medical charts for completeness. Documents all medications, refills, telephone conversations, and patient visits in the medical record.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a school of nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure within 90 days of employment is required. Clinical/BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of employment is required.
• 1 Year of hospital or clinic nursing experience preferred.
