Facilities and Maintenance Manager

Overview

Van‑Am Tool & Engineering is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our onsite manufacturing facility in St. Joseph, Missouri. This is a salaried leadership role supporting high‑quality aerospace and defense work in a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment.

• Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance activities, facility systems, and equipment reliability across our manufacturing operations.
• Ensure maintenance work is performed safely, efficiently, and in support of production and quality goals tied to critical aerospace programs.
• Provide hands‑on leadership and rely on experience in metal manufacturing maintenance for success in this role.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate repairs and improvements, and work closely with operations and engineering to minimize downtime.
• Apply knowledge of industrial maintenance practices to keep equipment and building systems operating reliably in a demanding manufacturing environment serving aerospace customers.
