Maintenance Mechanic | St. Joseph, MO (Distribution Center – DC)
Pay:
From $32.89/hr + shift premiums (+$1.00/hr 2nd, +$2.00/hr 3rd, +$0.29/hr weekend) + annual bonus up to 4%
Pay Frequency:
Weekly (Fridays)
Shifts Available: B Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:18 PM (Saturday–Sunday) (Work 24 hours, paid for 32 hours). B Shift employees typically cover Thursday/Friday overtime when needed.

Unless stated otherwise, this role is On-Site at the location detailed in the job post.

Additional context:
This role is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers, contingent on meeting the required skills and experience.

• Maintain and repair production and plant utility equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Install, move, and modify equipment including electrical, gas, water, and air hookups
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals to guide repairs
• Operate and maintain shop tools (lathe, mill, drill press, grinder, welder, etc.)
• Fabricate or repair jigs, guards, fixtures, and other custom components
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Log work orders and maintain records using Maximo CMMS
• Support safety, LOTO, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs
• Provide guidance or training to lower-level maintenance personnel

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance or mechanical trades experience
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical circuits, and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Must supply and maintain appropriate personal hand tools
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and shift coverage as needed
• High school diploma or GED required
• U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident (no sponsorship available)

Preferred:
Familiarity with Maximo CMMS, electrical diagnostics, and team-based improvement initiatives
