Quality Technician 2nd Shift - Distribution Center

Join Clarios as a Quality Technician on the 2nd shift at our distribution center. In this role, you will ensure the quality of finished products and materials through testing, data analysis, and process review.

What You Will Do

Conduct day‑to‑day analysis and tests in the quality control program, including data analysis, systems evaluation, and product assessment. Ensure operations are efficient, correct irregularities, and review processes to meet short‑ and long‑term quality objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Approve finished products, in‑process production, and incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re‑work, and confirming requirements.
  • Assist with QA audits and lead investigations on basic production issues.
  • Execute inspection requirements and document data and information as required.
  • Maintain documentation and records, and cooperate with other internal groups to improve the inspection system.
  • Support additional QA technician duties as required.
  • Comply with environmental, health and safety duties: follow safety rules, attend safety training, participate actively in the safety process, ask questions, report accidents and injuries immediately, submit suggestions to improve safety, understand emergency procedures, coach others, and receive lock‑out tag training after six months.
  • Attend hazardous and non‑hazardous waste trainings and recognize chemical hazardous labels, spill management, satellite accumulation rules, and hazardous waste procedures.
What We Look For Required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for generating process instructions and reports.
  • Strong analytical ability and quick learning.
  • Ability to use measurement equipment.
  • Structured project management skills, including documenting meeting minutes, action items, and monitoring progress.
  • Ability to train other inspectors in QA procedures and document inspection results.
  • Experience with SAP or other MRP based system.
Preferred
  • Associate’s degree in a technical field.
  • Manufacturing experience.
