Overview
Clinic Lab Technician - Full Time Status, Day Shift. Pay: $18.01 - $26.11 / hour.
This position performs technical laboratory testing in the clinic as requested by providers. Follows standard procedures for the various testing analyses, maintains equipment and supplies as needed. Collects specimens, draws blood and performs testing as requested. Generates laboratory reports and disseminates reports to requesting parties in a timely manner. This position is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Responsibilities- Receives and collects blood and urine specimens following CLIA and OSHA guidelines.
- Performs STAT testing and conducts tests for evaluating health status as requested.
- Performs quality control testing on all laboratory equipment daily and maintains appropriate records as outlined by CLIA guidelines.
- Responsible for quality controls and conducts PRO testing in a timely manner.
- Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment. Maintains inventory of supplies and orders.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- One year experience as a lab technician preferred.
