Manager of Quality Improvement provides leadership in the area of quality management related to publicly reported programs, regulatory quality reporting, and quality improvement initiatives. This individual provides guidance and facilitates improvements with the identification, development, implementation, and assessment of clinical quality programs in compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements for inpatient, outpatient and clinic populations. Assists in the development and presentation of clinical performance measures for leadership committees for the purpose of identifying patient care improvement opportunities, establishing action plans and for ensuring clinical improvements are obtained and sustained.
The position requires an excellent working knowledge of quality measures and regulations and the ability to work with leaders in clinical departments, service lines and administrative areas. This position is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
- Works with leadership, providers and staff to provide guidance toward clinical quality and process improvement.
- Coordinates the assessment and maintenance of continuous compliance with quality-related regulatory reporting requirements.
- Utilize, integrate, interpret, and analyze data to assist organizational improvement efforts, and promote optimal safety and quality outcomes.
- Staff development:
Be a role model for HEART behaviors. Manage staff performance through regular review, real time feedback, and performance planning. - Provides mentorship to Quality Consultants and Analyst.

- Associate's Degree - Graduate of a school of nursing is required. OR Bachelor's Degree - Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
- RN – Registered Nurse – State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location within 90 Days is required. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Certification is preferred.
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required. 3 Years of experience in healthcare quality is required.
