Entry-level Electrical Engineer

Job Title:

Electrical Engineer

Designs, develops, and maintains electrical systems for company products, working closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate electrical solutions.

• Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and PCB layouts for new and existing products.
• Write and maintain embedded code for microcontrollers, PLCs, or other platforms such as C/C++, Visual Basic.
• Develop and maintain operating systems for company products.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical design issues, improve production efficiency, and implement design changes to enhance manufacturability.
• Design electrical systems for tooling and test fixtures to support production and quality assurance processes.
• Maintain electrical engineering documentation and databases.
• Participate in product testing plans and oversee prototype evaluations.

• Proficiency in PCB Design and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong skills in electrical design and Electrical CAD software for creating accurate schematics and layouts.
• Experience in single board PCB design.
• Ability to write code for microcontrollers and PLCs.
• Proficiency in PLC programming.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience with circuit design, PCB layout, and electrical testing.
• Working knowledge of embedded programming (C/C++, Visual Basic, or similar).
• Experience supporting manufacturing processes and troubleshooting production equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with developing and maintaining operating systems, including real‑time OS environments preferred.
• Understanding of wireless communication technologies and protocols preferred.
• 0-2 years experience, ideally someone with internship or production environment experience.
• Hands‑on opportunity suited for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, tinkering, or building circuits in their free time.

Hands‑on working environment, combining work in the office, in a test lab, and on the floor within a production shop. This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Joseph, MO.

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000/yr. Health, medical, and vision 401K and bonus structure Life insurance, short and long term disability options PTO and Holiday - 2 weeks vacation front loaded, paid holidays.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Joseph, MO.

This position is anticipated to close on Mar 12, 2026.
